I. Surface Cleaning Methods:
1. Surface Cleaning: The cleaning method must be selected based on the properties of the surface being treated and the prevailing conditions. Commonly used methods include solvent cleaning, chemical treatment cleaning, and mechanical cleaning.
2. Surface Drying: After cleaning, the surface can be blown dry with filtered, dry compressed air, dried in a dryer at 120-170°C, or wiped dry with clean gauze.
II. Rust-Inhibiting Oil Application Methods:
1. Immersion Method: Some small items are immersed in rust-inhibiting grease, allowing a layer of grease to adhere to the surface. The oil film thickness can be adjusted by controlling the temperature and viscosity of the grease.
2. Brushing Method: This method is used for outdoor construction equipment or special-shaped products that are not suitable for immersion or spraying. When brushing, care should be taken to avoid buildup and missing coating spots.
3. Spraying Method: Some large rust-inhibiting items cannot be treated by immersion. Generally, spraying is performed using filtered compressed air at a pressure of approximately 0.7 MPa in a clean environment. The spray method is suitable for solvent-diluted anti-rust oil or thin layer of anti-rust oil, but complete fire prevention and labor protection measures must be adopted.
