The SCF12 stud-type cam follower features a stud supporting the outer ring for easy installation and removal. They are available in various styles, including: heavy-duty stud (for increased load capacity and durability); cam follower (equipped with a hexagonal socket for easier installation); and blind hole (designed for applications where space is limited and through-hole mounting is not possible).
Operating temperature limits are crucial when selecting a cam follower. Stainless steel cam followers can operate at higher temperatures, but additional coatings such as black oxide can further enhance their temperature and corrosion resistance.
